Western Dakota Technical Institute provides quality technical educational opportunities to residents of South Dakota and across the country.

Western Dakota Tech is one of four State-supported postsecondary technical institutes in South Dakota. We offer 25 different career programs ranging in length from 9 to 18 months. Western Dakota Tech grants Associate of Applied Science degrees and diplomas upon successful completion of individual program requirements. Through the Corporate Education Center, a wide variety of non-credit classes, workshops, and short-term training programs are available. Investing in lifelong learning leads employees toward more satisfying, productive working lives and assists employers in enhancing job performance, teamwork, and overall competitiveness.

WDTI serves over 4,000 students each year through full and part-time enrollment and non-credit courses. Over 850 students are enrolled as full-time students. Courses are available days, evenings and weekends as well as on-line.
